What will repair salt-alternative damage to concrete patio?

I had a concrete patio installed the length of my ranch home, and told not to use salt on it for a year until its well-cured. I was NOT told to keep salt-alternative away from it to melt the winter's snow and ice. That was also a destroyer and I'm sick over it . I was told that chemical is now throughout the concrete, the process cannot be stopped, and, if resurfaced, I'd be wasting my money because it will just reappear and corrode it again. HELP, please???

First make sure to scrape away all the damaged area and then you can reset new concrete in it's place, don't worry it's fixable!Quickrete can help!

Since salt is alkaline, I think I would add an acid like vinegar to see if it will neutralize the effect of the salt.
