How about sanding them down and painting them? You can give them a whole new look!
You can sand lightly , restain, and polyurethane them to really protect them .
Our cabinets were not stained just that the finish was getting dull & little bit of marks (scratches, etc) Wanted to have them professionally re-glazed, etc but my husband found a product called Restorz It.
We bought the product. We thought it a little pricey, however, it did a good job on our kitchen & bathroom cabinets which are 19 yrs old & are maple with a cherry finish. This product can also be used on furniture.
