Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?
I have been painting my walls and notice that my ceiling looks yellowish. Can I paint this ceiling as well? I'm up for any ideas
First I would wash them down with sugar soap to remove all the old grease build up that you may not be able to see xx
If you want little prep involved, use chalk paint, you don't need to prime or sand, just clean well and paint.
Not sure what look you're going for, but maybe staining in a different color could be an option for you. If you want the painted look you will have to sand, tack clean, prime, paint. Sponge roller works best. For an aged look, sand off the edges if desired. I'd like to suggest wipe on polyurethane as a sealer (easy peasy technique). Remember to number each door when removing from cabinet. Best of luck.
