Look for a bathtub refinishing company in your area. I had my old cast iron tub redone by one of these companies and it looks awesome. I used to work for a hotel and we used this method on some of the older tubs that were stained and chipped and they looked as good as the newer ones. Just make sure they don't actually paint it with a brush. There is a spray on method that I highly recommend. My neighbor had her tub done by the same company and was thrilled with the outcome.
Look for a company in your area that refinishes bathtubs. Make sure they use a spray method and don't use a brush to paint it on. You can buy products to DIY but if you mess it up your up the creek without a paddle! I had my old cast iron tub done last year and it looks like new.
