After I apply clear wax to my wooden table that has Annie Sloan chalk do I have to wash the brush immediately?

I put mine into a container of cold water with a couple of drops dish detergent and then wash it well as soon as I can. I reuse my brushes as long as I can, and this has worked well.
I clean mine with hot water and dawn. or stick it in a plastic bag.

You want to clean the brush as soon as possible. I've forgotten to clean my wax brush before, so I let it soak in water and then cleaned it.
