If you're not sure how to change the light hire an electrician , or ask a friend if they know of an electrician that could help you..
Take it from experience, Don't attempt it if you're not familiar with electricity...i thought I could change a ceiling fan and got myself knocked off the ladder with a good jolt... hire a professional!
Every lighting device sold will have instructions, which wire to which wire, etc. MOST IMPORTANTLY, find your circuit breaker box and flip the breaker controlling the light to off. Turn the light on and even if you have to walk back and forth to check , turn off the breakers one at a time until you find the right one. DO THIS FIRST! Electricity can kill!
That is one solution. I am hoping there must be a way to do this.
If you do not have the proper equipment, call an electrician, or find someone to teach you. It is a relatively simple process - most of the time, if you know what to do.
Check out these two links - this will help you decide.
