Can I paint my popcorn ceiling?

The mirror glass paint that is currently available actually finishes the surface being sprayed, as opposed to the exterior, outer surface that is normally exposed. This is why it only works on glass. There are high gloss, chrome finish standard paints which would probably be the closest you will find.
Look for mirror paint in hardware stores
Generally, solid three quarter inch hardwood can be sanded at least one time by a quality professional and then refinished naturally with a polyurethane application finish or stained and polyurethaned, which would remove the tack and nail holes.
