... but his parents do not want a totally orange room. I picked up a vintage child's desk and matching dresser and offered to paint them for my niece to put in her 7 year old's room. She chose the colours she wanted included and left me to decide how to finish them. I had a couple fails but finally went for some stripes. They look like racing stripes so he REALLY loves his "new" furniture. To give the set a good punch of orange, I re-covered a vintage Goodwill chair with a lovely retro orange fabric.
