If you like your tile, give it a real good cleaning, and then put a good coat of sealer on it. Tell the guy at the paint store, the type of tile you have, and he will tell you what you need. Use a very low nap roller on a long pole after you cut in around the edges, then work your way out of the room.
You can paint it! Use a bonding primer first and then latex paint. It shouldnt even take too long! Have fun!
