Appliance paint

Back in the Renaissance (1970s), I painted my refrigerator, kitchen cabinet doors, and recesses in the 3-6 panel doors red while everything else was painted white. Hung some red checked cafe curtains at the one window in the room and a valance on the door. Got a lot of compliments on my nerve to use red in a kitchen and thought I was the cat's meow for being different.

Forgot to tell you. I used Rustoleum red on refrigerator, doors and recesses and basic latex white on the rest of the kitchen.

For sure, Rustoleum Epoxy Appliance spray paint works awesome on appliances.

they make panels to cover dishwashers; maybe there are panels for refrigerators too?
