Ice Ice Baby! Easy Chalk Transformation. Trash to Treasure.
by
Shabby Paints
(IC: professional)
This old table was being thrown in the trash over the summer because the top was coming off and had huge gashes on the sides. SCORE for me...luckily I was able to get the table and buy the matching chairs and corner hutch. Right time...Right place. I painted her in Ice Chalked paint and protected her with Pearl reVAX..by Shabby Paints of course. :) I layered 3 thin coats of pearl reVAX using a slightly damp foam sponge. She has a beautiful pearl glass finish now. Lightly distressed the edges to celebrate her scares from a rough life. Now she is back to being a the beauty she was meant to be. Easy project..even for a beginner.

Kelly is Addressing The Occasion on Sep 09, 2014Love love love!! I left behind where I lived through the winter, the same style drop leaf. It is still in the front porch, weathered to the degree that veneer is stripping from it. I'm going to drum up some muscle to move it, then will start having fun. Will post updates. Thanks for following!!

Yvo1279271 on Feb 12, 2015I was just skimming this page, and I didn't even notice that it was a refubished piece of furniture until I read it in the comments. Good job, I think this could go grate in my apartment by my french doors. A good little table for those living on their own or for couples. Yvon Lebras | http://esprit-decor.com
