Clorox cleanup and a toothbrush
The spots are probably mold. You can try a mixture of equal amounts of bleach and dawn dish soap.stired (not shaken) into a bowl. (Start w small amounts about 2 tablespoons each).dab unto the area using a sponge. (Dont scrub). Leave it on 5 minutes gently wipe off with soft sponge and rinse off. Make sure to rinse your hands off (bleach can be harsh) If that does not work you my need to redo your caulk.
it IS mold, , , and bleach will get rid of it. Bleach and water does it for me, , AND BE SURE TO USE plastic gloves, and lots of ventilation. The spots will disappear in seconds, but leave on for a few minutes, then simply rinse with water.
when I get the spots on my tub ceiling, I just put bleach on a sponge and dab. Works like a charm.
Oh and wear old clothes, , just in case.
Bleach will get rid of it if it's on top of caulk if it's underneath then re caulk area cleaning with bleach and letting it dry thoroughly before caulking. Mold grows when room is not properly ventilated. Check ventilation fan you may need to vacuum it. If not then dry with a washcloth everytime it's used to prevent it from growing back. Just wipe down walls and the bottom area that meets tub. Ring out wash cloth and don't leave it in shower but put it on towel rack to dry for next day.
Make sure you buy caulk for bathrooms and don't use the shower for 24 hours after application
Thank you for all of your tips and tricks! I appreciate it!
