I am using the formula that was posted on Hometalk, half vinegar and half Dawn Dish Soap, mixed in a spray bottle. It works fantastic on soap scum. Just spray and leave it sit for about 10 minutes, then just rinse. No scrubbing. The first time you will notice about 80% of the soap scum just disappear, but about the third application, you will be at 100% and just use once a week after that to keep it clean. Cheap and does the trick. (PS - You must use Original Dawn)
i use window cleaner from dollar store & car window cleaner mix half and half no streaks works great on film and water spots use on mirrors too.
Mix one-part vinegar with four parts water and pour it into the spray bottle. Spray the solution onto the cotton cloth or directly onto the mirror. Before the spray dries, wipe the mirror from side to side or up and down with the cotton cloth. Never wipe the mirror in circles.
Thank you Chloe
