i knocked part of non-bearing wall down and there is a gap now that does not have the wood floor. It's 1 1/2 in wide slats . I don't know where I can get refurbished skats to fill in this gap.

Old school, buy 1 1/2" slats and find a stain that matches or mix up a batch to match..

Take a picture of the wood . Measure the length of the planks and the width and thickness . Start looking at the Restore or Habitat for Humanity store. Often home owners or contractors will donate excess. Look on ebay as well . Last resort , check actual flooring stores.

Sometimes you can remove the wood from a closet that matches your floor and replace that floor with new wood or a reclamation store might have some old wood

I agree with Joan. I have stolen wood flooring from a closet and weaved into the patch to make is disappear. Don't just fill in, it will look like a patch. Clost flooring can be replaced with anything.
