Many things affect growing of veggies. Your soil is all important....You need a nice mix of garden dirt, compost and some peat moss for moisture. Your sun conditions dictates how your plants grow and how often you water matters too. Most veggies like full sun and water a few inches per week. Best wishes for a happy growing season.
