The only way I have succeeded in killing it was to use Roundup
Depending where the poison ivy is you can use Brush-B-Gone providing there are no other bushes ,plants or flowers around
My man just made me scratch it, and he put some bleach on a paper towel and put it on it. Kinda stung but it's almost gone...
but if ur talking about the plant, we'll, that's how I got it. Lol. I suggest wearing long sleeves, pants, and gloves!! And just pull it all out. Try to get the roots too!!
Round Up and lots of it.
Suit up, yank it out, and follow up with Round Up. It's totally doable!

Hi Linda, hope this helps you. Try cutting the vine about 6" above where it comes out of the ground. Put some full strength white vinegar on both of the cut ends by dipping them into a cup full of white vinegar. Do this all along the length of the vines. Repeat if necessary.
