Blackberries will naturally spread and you should have more starts next year.

My blackberries and raspberries are not thornless (my bad, really really bad;) but they spread by simply putting a branch on the ground, then root and take off from there. They are seriously misbehaving this year and I will have to wage war to get them under control. It will be bloody and my only hope is to survive...

You can layer the runners to start new plants.

Take a tall branch, bend it. Create a spot where you have removed weeds and shallow plant it still attached to the plant. Leave the tip of the stem in the light. Use a rock to hold it under the dirt. It will grow roots and then you can cut it from the parent and plant it where you want.
