If it's a cover, find something you could use to hold it upright in the upside down position, then it becomes a bowl or catch all for decorative items.
Looks like a lid? If so, you can turn it upside down, use some fancy polyester cord to hang it from a decorative hook and then put some silk flowers in it. I can visualize a big bunch of white Chrysanthemums in it with some greenery.

Its so beautiful you must find a way to display it, unless you can find a bottom that fits. Maybe a ceiling light fixture cover? Maybe a lamp cover? Maybe an
upside down birdbath? Frame it and put it in the foyer? Or with a beautiful wrought stand, a 'key & junk' holder at the front door? Lastly, maybe if you go to horse races you could use it as a hat.

I think I would find a tall clear glass vase and use it as a topper. Use the vase to display some colorful or interesting do-dads such as sea shells or colored sand.
