    Hi Leslee,

I have tilt-in windows, but I just don't like to clean my windows. I purchase a Groupon every spring and have the windows professionally cleaned once a year. I have a large 2-story home and this is a very affordable and time-saving solution. Good luck!

We bought a long-handled brush at Home Depot. First we use the hose to wash off all the loose stuff. Then we use one of those hose-end spray fertilizer containers with vinegar, water and a few drops of dish soap. We spray that on , use the brush and then wash it down with the hose. The water usually sheets right off the glass.

The worst part of cleaning windows to me is removing the window screens. The solar screens require a lot of patience and a good screwdriver. We also soap them up and wash them down while they are off the windows. We only get that ambitious once a year.
