Here is my story, I have 3 and gave one away already.
Several years ago I took a fall vacation. When I returned, there was a little plant growing out of one of my tiny planter boxes. Knowing it would not survive there, I carefully dug it out and potted it and kept in a protected area of my yard, for 2 years repotting when necessary. Year 3 it went in ground. Ever since that happened, every year I have more fig trees popping up everywhere on my property. I have hept 2 more, and now giving away the ones that turn up on their own. So be watchful, you may not need to propogate.

i always do cuttings and make sure when i cut them that i get a V a cutting with 2 smaller limbs on it then i dip in root hormone and i have a big bucket of soil with vermiculite in it and put them there the vermiculite spreads the soil out and gives the roots plenty of room to grow keep it moist but not soaking wet hope this helps
