What is the best way to control horse tail in my planters?

    You can try getting it with some vinegar.

    Be grateful it is in your planters and not free in your yard! Previous owners planted horsetail against our house and I have been having a tough time getting rid of it. It is an ancient plant nd rumor has it it was the first to come back on Mt. St. Helens after the eruption. If I were you I would confine horse tail to one planter, or several small planters. It doesn't play nicely with others.
