What canI do to make my rental house have more curb appeal?

Also I would go with potted plants and set them on this or that in some locations to get varied heights for interest and maybe add a bright colored something (maybe even somebody elses trash item) spray painted. Then you can move them around when you want to.

First is you property painted with a vibrate color scheme. What is does the landscape look like? Lawn manicured, bushes trim to not block windows, windows trimmed and maybe add flower boxes to add colorful flowers. What condition is the driveway and garage door? A painted front door is always a great way to attract attention to your property. Pinterest has great curb appeal photos.

I agree with Norris720. Send us pictures, Lynda, so we can get a better idea. Overgrown bushes is a huge negative and makes a house look old, dark and un-cared for. Sometimes a trim is all they need but if the bottoms look too woody, dig them out and plant new shrubs. Norris720 has also listed the obvious - such as painting the trim and resealing a driveway, etc. Different colored curtains on the front windows is a no-no; the same colors at each window adds a consistent look. If you have an attached garage, paint the doors a color that blends in with the brick or siding - then paint the front door an attractive color as the front door should be the only focal point of the house; not the garage! Flank the front doors with pots either side if room permits. Make sure there isn't a lot of "stuff" laying about such as garden hoses, tools, garbage containers, etc.
