Buffet From a Dresser
Paint it a color you like, get a piece of marble or granite for the top from your local granite/marble store and see if you can get a scrap that could be cut to size. Might be less than you think. Change the drawer pulls if you want. Viola!
Paint or finish to match your dining area....Add new hardware. You could remove some of the drawers and add shelves to hold dishes, etc. In one of the drawers, add dividers, etc to hold silverware, utensils, etc. You could add a small wine rack in one of the drawer spaces. Lots of options!
