Lead to the head!! JK They sell ultrasonic devices that emit a sound and vibration every thirty seconds. We've used them for gophers with fairly good results and they cover a good sized area.
I have one that I never tried, but I just have to pass this on. I read this in a Readers Digest yrs ago. You can use either chewing tobacco or bubble gum.
Are you ready for this? When they come up to spit, you hit them in the head.
The same for bubble gum.
I hope you got a good laugh and you can use this when you hear friends or neighbors talking about how bad the moles are in their yard.
Moles aren't eating your beets. They're insectivores and munch happily on grubs, bugs and earthworms.
Get rid of the grubs and the moles will leave. There is a pellet that is sold at Lowes or Home Depot that you put on the lawn to kill the grubs. Read instructions on package.
