Lisa Cuddy on Jan 24, 2014you could try to corral everything in an armoire, perhaps with a drop down desk. You might have to fit it out with shelves and cubbies. I'm a huge fan of plastic storage containers for everything! I buy them at dollar stores so it's easy on the budget. Also , use under bed storage for the things you don't need to see all the time. I might even use those bed risers to make the storage space bigger. Good luck, if you're like me you couldn't live without a creative outlet. Let me know how things go. lisascuddy@yahoo.comHelpful Reply

Linda Crandall on Jan 25, 2014If you have closet you can spare you can build something inside it for all your crafts or use a large armoire to store. You can add a flip down table from the Armorie and make it very nice!Helpful Reply

The Garden Frog with C Renee on Jan 25, 2014Since you live in an apartment, I would consider finding an old computer armoire with the desk that comes out as Lisa suggested. Or I would find a dresser on the cheap, paint it, use boxes, bins or whatever you find to divide the drawer space up. For the top I would find another table top or dresser top and get hinges to make it fold out into the room for work space and when you are done you "fold" the top back onto the dresser top. Above the dresser against a wall, you could put shelves about 12" apart all the way to the ceiling and find boxes from the store (about the same size for each shelf) and cover them in wallpaper, wrapping paper or even fabric for your supplies -using different size heights for each shelf. maximize your wall space for hold the supplies. Even using curtain rods to hold your ribbon or fabric. If you choose to hide all this, you could easily buy a curtain rod or two to hang on the ceiling to drape curtains around the area to hide it from plain view. and thus using it as a room divider as well. I hope this makes sense? good luckHelpful Reply

Dorothy on Jan 30, 2014I have a TV cabinet/ armoire that has a slide out for the tv, cabinet doors on the bottom there is a shelf above the slide out and a drawer and open space below in the cabinet area. Its perfect for doing crafts and with the cut outs in the back a clip on swing arm light works perfectly for lighting, and when I am through with my crafting, it all closes up and hiden away, and its a beautiful piece of furniture (Pier 1 imports)Helpful Reply

Nivasi Frankly-Speaks on Feb 01, 2014I have used in the past, an ironing board that can be stabilized on the wall.. so it doesn't tip .. lower the ironing board, affix (I did this with a hook on the wall and a leather belt) and of course you have to have your piece of plywood for more working space. Raise and lower to accommodate your bins of goodiesHelpful Reply
