25 Free Vintage Botanical Illustration Printables
A couple weeks ago, I decorated our home for summer and shared some simple decorating ideas that are easy to do and easy on the budget. One of those ideas was to layer and stagger several botanical prints above the mantel. I love the way it turned out and I'm sharing the 25 botanical prints I used so you can try this easy and inexpensive project too!
You can click here to get to the blog post where I share the PDF file of 25 botanical prints.
Since my laser printer only prints in black ink, I took the file to Kinkos and had them print the pictures on medium weight matte paper. Then, to give the prints a more vintage look, as if the paper had become brittle over time, I trimmed the edges using deckle edge scissors from the craft store.
I layered and staggered the botanical prints to give it a casual feel.
I love the way it gives our bedroom color, character, and casual elegance! When I take the prints down, I can either frame them or hang them like I did for the artwork in my oldest son's bedroom. Tell me your ideas on how you'd use these prints. You can click the link below to the blog post to get the download. (The PDF file allows you to print without having to download the entire file.)
