I am assuming you no longer want to use it for plants? You could repaint it (if desired) and use it as a lamp stand in your home.
Hardware stores sell a product just for that. Tremclad Paint which is sold in a spray can or a regular can similar to a paint can.
Depending on how tall it, make it into a table. You can buy wood that is already cut into a round form from Home Depot, rough it up a little bit, stain it and attach to the planter.
I made one of mine into an outdoor side table. I sanded it and gave it a fresh coat of paint, then put a piece of glass on top!
