Lavender is one of those things that I think every should have. I like to gather my lavender in an even bouquet as many as my hand will hold. When placing them in my hand I ensure all the flowers are level then cut the bottom and tie a thin ribbon or twine around the stems close to the flowers and put in a short vase.
If you have dried or even fresh lavender you can get some floral foam & put it into a pot & stick the lavender stems into it along with other dried flowers & make a nice fragrant indoor display on your mantle or on tables. The dried lavender will stay nice indoors for a long time. You can also go to a craft store & get a wreath making kit & make a wreath. Lavender is also great in a wedding bouquet. You can also make sashes with the dried lavender & put them in drawers to make things smell great. Lavender can be added to craft projects & try adding lavender to picture frames. Your emagination can be limitless! We plant lavender throughout our gardens because most bugs avoid the areas where lavender is which helps the gardens flourish! If you make your own gift cards you can add some lavender for decorating. I have made small bouquets with fresh lavender, put a ribbon around them & pinned them to my kitchen curtains. Adds a nice touch, & smells great! You can also make some small potted bouquets of lavender to put in your bathrooms!
