This is my pink bathroom. The apartment is a rental, so I can't retile. What can I do to hide it or change its color?
You could remove the tub surround and then tile the area around the tub. Tile is long-lasting and upgrades your bathroom style.
What is your question? Is it water stained and are you having trouble cleaning it, or is the paint flaking and do you need that fixed? It helps to clarify what you need so we can help you figure it out. Michele is right, if you're having a problem with the finish, it would be best to tile it.
i'm having the same problem, mine is made from fibre board and is water damaged so i'm sanding the surface lightly to rough it up and sand down the swollen water damaged parts and then i'm covering it in slate effect self adhesive vinyl tiles its a cheaper alternative but looks just as nice !
