Thank you, Annette Bradley, I appreciate your quick response and ingenious solution to my problem. Also, your answer led me to believe that I wasn't explaining my problem accurately. I alreadly spray painted all of my aluminum outdoor furniture bronzed copper. This furniture has indented patterns that don't show well, if at all, through the paint. What I want to do is to bring out the indented patterns---some of them flowers, others flourishes---with a dark paint or stain so that these indentations show up, but despite all of the people at paint stores whom I've asked, none of those with whom I've consulted could tell me what kind of product I could purchased to achieve this effect.
