What's the best care free maintenance for a sloped landscape?

Plant pachysandra, a wildflower mix or any perennials that spread (ie brown eyed Susans, cone flowers), no more maintenance.

For low to no maintenance creeping sedum.It comes in many different varieties and color.

Consider scraping it all down to raw dirt, spread tons of wild flower seeds and let it go.

Definitely sedum! Stay away from ivy! Ivy requires more maintenance and is almost impossible to get rid of (I think it's related to kudzu...lol). I live in SC too and have several types of sedum that stay green all winter that require no maintenance. For my money, sedum are your best bet. Check at Lowes or someplace like thativy!
