How can I do easy outdoor stairway lighting w/o electrical knowledge.

Our stairs face the north so they do not get a lot of sun for solar power, especially in the winter.

Do you have outdoor plugs over there? And sometimes I cheat with my solar lights during the winter and recharge the batteries with a wall recharger and put them back in. They go really bright for about two nights.
