Take leaves off
Can you post a photo?It could be more than one issue and pullng leaves off is not the answer.
Maybe something here will help after the leaves are off - to keep it from spreading or coming back again.

Get neem oil, it's organic, mix as directed then spray on plant in latter part of the day so it dries overnight you do that because it is oil based. Also when did you fertiliz? If it's been a few months you may need to feed again. Do not remove leaves until you treat and it's a full sun plant. Good luck,that's a beautiful plant
