Diatomaceous earth will make a dandy insect killer. You can also make a dust bath for your birds out of it to help control mites and such.
Yep, DE is a fabulous natural pesticide. Gets rid of red mites for the chicken too.
Yes, Diatomaceous Earth is great. You will have to reapply it after it rains.
Not expensive. You can get it at a farm supply store in 50 pound bags.
DE gets rid of fleas in carpeting and on pets,bed bugs,ants in plant pots,etc.etc. Google it to learn more.
