I can imagine that your washer is in the spin cycle and "walking" because maybe the load or the machine is unbalanced. Make sure your washer is level using a builders level and make sure back to front and side to side is level. Have you tried looking at the feet of the washer? You could probably put some folded sandpaper under them to cause friction.
Probably needs to be leveled side to side and back to back. Front has adjustable feet to level it.

They isolate the washing machine from the floor and really dampen the vibration, stopping it being transmitted to the floor whilst securely holding the machine in place

it shouldn't move at all. sounds like it may be off balance. mine has set on concrete floor for over 20 years!!
Sounds like you may have an uneven load or perhaps your washer itself is not level. After checking it you can level it by turning the appropriate feet until it is level.
Have you checked to see if it is level?
I would do groups of day lillies..I live in Michigan and mine are in full bloom right now. Plant some lilacs bushes behind they are green all summer and would have bloomed already and they have varieties that do not grow huge. Also pick out iris varieties to plant...they are great for too.
I love holly bushes for year round green and dwarf pines. Love to see your after pic
