Our neighbor had good luck with a commercial product that is apparently almost pure citric acid. it would take a lot of lemons to make this yourself, however! Table salt sprinkled heavily on weeds in a gravel driveway worked for another neighbor, but this wouldn't work in a flower bed or near non-weedy plants.
White vinegar and water 50/50,a dab of salt and a dab of dish soap....only for sidewalks or where there are no other plants or shrubs involved
