How do you fix water marks on wood furniture

    Try sprinkling the marks with baking soda. Let set overnight and then clean and polish.

    White toothpaste and a soft cloth work well for buffing out the stain.

    Rub water marks with a walnut half. The oil from the nutmeat covers the stain. Use lighter colored nuts for lighter furniture. Wipe with soft cloth.

    if you're talking about the milky discoloration water leaves on finished hardwoods then the answer is heat. I use a heat gun to remove those marks but some hair driers will do it. If your hai drier isn't hot enough and you don't own a heat gun you can try mediu heat on your clothes iron. Put down a piece of parchment paper first the iron over that. I would suggest buying the heat gun as they have many more uses.
