Is there a sure-fire way to get rid of Creeping Charley?
Sadly the best option is for animal control to step in. Feral cats are dangerous and can do a lot of damage. Once they take an area over they will fight to keep it. call animal control and dog sit for a friend so the dog can run them off. Good luck!
Get a dog. They make wonderful companions. As a side benefit, a dog will keep the cats away. If you are not a position to get a dog, check this out.

Request help from the ASPCA. They can bring catch cages and take the poor things away as they're caught. The sooner caught the fewer kittens. There are no winners in a situation such as this.
there are several options: a dog, tiger pooh from the zoo or used coffee dispersed around your plants.
Ritter critters from home depot
Place rubber snakes from toy dept. in areas want cats to avoid. Can buy them at Dollar Tree and other discount stores. Cheap and easy thing to try to keep unwanted cats out of your yard.
Removing the colony will only create a vacuum, which will in turn be filled with others. My suggestion is to figure out why they are trespassing then provide what they need outside the perimeter of your property. Do call your local humane society for assistance in trapping them for neuter and release them back in their space. At some point they will die off without reproducing. This will work for a while, but ALL the cats in the area must be altered. You don't have a cat problem, you have a human problem. Until people take responsibility for their charges and make a life long commitment to them, you will see strays abound.
Amen! Well said.
