Cathy W on Jan 27, 2014Now this isn't a permanent solution but should help with the cold.... Cardboard, or foam core sheets (Available 9'x4' at craft or florist supply, special order, give them a call) on either side of wall of dirt and/or blocks will give you enough protection from the elements. Heat in, cold out. We aren't used to this cold either so I've put up foam core in our windows to keep the heat in. When it warms up, go for the professional installation. P.S. This weather WILL warm up eventually... I hope!Helpful Reply
