Kill weeds with a solution of made up up of one part salt to two parts water. Pour directly on the weeds.
Mix half box salt with gallon of vinigar spray
Boiling salt water is pretty awesome. Of course, it will kill everything around it too. Just salt will kill everything around it too. It's great stuff, but it doesn't discriminate. If the weeds are close to plants you wish to keep, the best bet is hand pulling.
Mix vinegar and water in a spray bottle --- keep mixing different strengths until you see results. I like a stronger vinegar:water mix myself. The smell only lasts a few days.
