Any advice (products/process/etc) on patching/repairing this broken concrete patch on our driveway? Thank you!
Hello Peggy; I would try to 'grout' the areas myself using wet concrete.
Also, you may wish to ask a handyman to take a look at the cracks, and see what he thinks.
Normally cracks form due to the concrete settling.
I hope that this will help you!! Good Luck!!
New concrete will not bond to old concrete. You can use a latex modified concrete patch to fill large wide cracks. Smaller narow cracks can be filled and sealed with concrete caulk. If the cracks come back then that means the driveway is settling and shifting. Then I may need to be replaced.
I had a slab that needed raising due to settling. After, the large crack was filled in with Quickcrete Concrete Crack Seal. It fills cracks up to 1/2 inch wide. There are also other kinds of crack fillers you can get at Home Depot. Lowe's or other similar stores.
