The Behr exterior paint worked for ours. I've also heard that chalk paint works great but we didn't use that, it was a little expensive & our deck would have needed too much.
Did you prime first?
Painted and sanded - but have you primed after sanding? And used a paint made especially for decks? Using a good quality primer helps bond the paint to the wood.
what type of flooring/decking is there? We were just sitting on our front porch and while the decking needs a new coat, the old one is certainly sticking. Why are you sanding after painting? Are you using porch and deck paint?
Sadly, I have never found a paint that sticks for long. If you are in a humid climate the moisture loosens the paint. If you are in a dry climate the wood shrinks and the paint pops off. Is your porch cement or wood. Some of the garage floor paints work reasonably well. Have you considered some of the new improved indoor/outdoor carpets? They work well.
