Absolutely! Try a good soak with either one. Good luck.
Vinegar and hot water.. Or if it's lime try Lime Away
I'd try vinegar, then a product called CLR that works wonders.
Actually, if it were my classroom, I'd write a note to maintenance to have them take care of it. Who knows if it's a health hazard.
I'll try it out. Thank you so much!
vinager will help but a product called EdFred is something that smells nice and works for me on everything in my bath and kitchen. Love it. You can google and order it online and a lot of cleaning supply places carry it.
Hello Betty; I would try White Vinegar. What I would do is to cover the areas with the Vinegar and then lay old rags over it and let it all sit for several hours.
If there is still any gunk, then I would try Peroxide.
If those do not work, I would then try Bar Keepers Friend.
I hope that this will help you!! Good Luck!!!
I've got the same problem and I'm about to hit it with my hand held steam cleaner. Not to be used on paint, though. Found that out the hard way when I strayed a bit out of line!
Betty Kanai - Try TSP from your local Hardware store.
Okay, will check it out. Thanks Norris!
Try the lime away....soak a rag with it, cover problem with rag and plastic wrap. Let sit for a few hours. Covering with rap keeps evaporation down. You may have to do this a few times. I worked for a cleaning co. It took me a good month working just 3days a week to get it all removed from the sinks.
