I use a brush and Lysol tub and tile cleaner.
pumice stone works best
Good old elbow grease. Toilet bowl cleaner & a toilet bowl brush
I use a long-handled brush (not one with a curved head). Scrub first and then dry off your brush a good bit. Wrap a wash cloth around the brushing using rubber bands to clean any cleanser off the back and to dry the area.
Once you clean it, use one of those toilet tablets for prevention - they work really well for us!
