A wrestling mud pit
If the ground is flat, how about some flagstones, large potted plants and a bistro set? Maybe a birdfeeder or some wind chimes or windspinner would be nice, too.
Put in a fairy garden along with the bird feeding station. Small miniature trees , and a pretty ground cover. It would be a great sauntuary for the birds! I have this outside my bedroom window. I have the greatest joy to lay and watch the hundreds of birds.
Mulch it and add pretty yard art. Shepherd's hooks with bird feeders or anything pretty.
fountian the sound is so relaxing
consider a Japanese zen garden. Look on Pinterest for ideas. You can keep it as simple as you want, with minimal plants (or none). Then add a bench for relaxation. Good luck!
I am putting in a rose garden where my vegetables used to be. I put a birdbath in the middle and a bench to the side. It's outside my bedroom window. So nice to hear the birds out there in the morning. Smells wonderful~
