Yes you can. Be sure to clean it well before doing so. You may need to use a primer first.

Make sure the paneling is clean. Prime the paneling with a good stain blocking primer like Zinsser 123 or BIN. Then paint your color like painting walls. If the paneling has grooves you can fill them with drywall patching compound. Let it dry overnight. Next day go over the patch with a damp sponge to smooth it out. Prime and paint.

You can as long as you clean it well, scuff up the finish with sand paper, then put a good primer on, it should hold up well.

depends, if it is true wood paneling yes, if it is a printed wood pattern it may be on a paper laminate you can paint this but the paper may bubble, also there will be no wood grain. Whatever you do remember to wash the wall thoroughly with TSP or ammonia to remove surface dirt.

YES, u can. Clean with TSP, SAND LIGHTLY, USE A PAINT WITH PRIMER ALREADY IN IT.

Yes. BUt it looks tacky. They make a filler cloth that you use over those lines that will prevent you from seeing the lines..but ts expensive. If you want to white wash...like a stain...that might work..test a section first and see if you like the result.

We did - used Kilz first, let it dry, and the paint rolled on beautifully - and was a pale yellow over dark paneling.
