Install a misting system - any home improvement store will have many options to choose from. All you need is a water source!
I don't know if your porch is enclosed or not but either way a swamp cooler will help cool you down. I have posted below direction on how to use a five gallon bucket to make a swamp cooler (but to tell you the truth filling it up to the sides holes with ICE and just a bit of water will get you cooled down faster AND keep you cooled down longer than just using plain old water that will warm up quickly.... the ice will have to melt before turns into water and then begins to warm up ;) so you'll have more time to stay cool .. GOOD LUCK

a misting system is simple to install, very inexpensive to run.. all you need is a hose, and a misting hose that is available at most DIY stores or Amazon
