What do I use to decorate stones for outside. I want block colours and delicate lines. I also want to leave them outside in the uk. So it's more often rain and cold.

I would think you could use acrylic paints then seal them with a good outdoor sealing product. I don't know what brands you have in the UK, but you should be able to talk to the people where you would buy it to find a good brand.

    Good luck!

If you want a particular color use porch and deck enamel. Most varnish will dry clear.

Acrylic paints work great for that type of application. I don't even spray with them with clear coat. I paint strawberry decoys and vegetable markers. They tend to last two years without a clear coat.
