I'm a gardening beginner. Are there any perennials that I can't kill?

Actually azaleas are very hardy, and elephant ears ears and Hosta's ! Just from my own experience, and as they grow you can divide and take over,
Sure there are what comes to mind is hostas, day lilies, phlox, bleeding heart bushes, low growing sumacs, tulips are hardy as are iris'
depends on where you live...in my gardening zone 6, tulips will not come back because our winters are not cold enough for the chilling time that tulips require. It also depends if you have full sun or shade as to what to plant. Ask the google...it knows all. Good luck and have fun!
Hostas are very hardy....lady's mantel as well. both are foliage plants the really don't do much for flowering. iris do well in my location.
daffodils, monkey grass, miniature hydrangea, peony are also good. Knock out roses are also good, if you have the room!
tiger lilies are great .
What kind of light is available in the areas that you are thinking of making into your garden. Start small at first and plan to add to it a little each year as you become more confident. You may think you have a black thumb, but you never know until you try and find out how easy it can really be once you get started. Remember to start out small at first so you don't get over whelmed by taking on too much.
daffodils, roses, iris, and hostas. I have all plants and love they keep coming up more each year
Were you wanting flower garden perennials or vegetable garden perennials? Either, they're all pretty darn hardy, even tho my kids have occasionally mowed them down!🙄
hostas, day lilies, 4 oclocks
cactus..
I have your same problem!
I like succulents like jade plants. Also, cacti do well even if you forget to water it.
Orchids require one or a few ice cubes each week. Try not to give it too much. But from an orchid I bought from the grocery on sale with all the blossoms off, I was able to produce 2 new spikes with 5 blossoms on one, and 3 blossoms on the other. Read up on these. They are worth trying!
Also, growing herbs in your garden or on a porch or in a window is fun. I am growing basil, and it's so great to have some fresh leaves to put in pasta sauce or chili. They don't need much care (water every other day), and they can be picked a free leaves at a time, or if you have enough leaves, make pesto from it. Yummy!
Also mint. The mint in stores is spearmint. You can grow that with your basil with about the same care.
How about Shasta Dasies, Sefium or Lilly's all perennials and full sun
