I have voles that are digging up my lawn, how do I get rid of them?
They are leaving dirt piles and holes all over my lawn. I have tried to drown them, but they are still here and digging.
get rid of the grubs
There are things you can buy at Lowes to put in the ground that will get rid of them.
If you put juicy fruit gum in the hole it will keep them away, I know it sounds stupid but I hear it works. Cheap enough to try it, I don't have them myself.
spray your yard with "beneficial nematodes" (available at most DIY stores and Amazon)
they are eating insects in your grass. I you poison them the moles will leave.
I am sorry to say that my sister has had this problem for many years and has tried everything. She finally changed her plants to include only the items that they were not interested in. They especially enjoy bulbs and juicy roots, so those will have to go. Good luck!
